Book Blurb

Welcome to Rescue for Hire West. Meet a team of specialists, ready to take on America’s rugged west and rescue victims in trouble.

When the grandfather of one of the team passes away, the guys attend the funeral to pay their respects. Team medic, Parker Curry, meets brothers Seth and Cayman Kent. The big guys claim Parker is theirs. Smaller does not mean weaker and Parker lets them know his opinions on the matter of equality.

Plumbers Seth and Cayman try their best to understand Parker’s needs. Their efforts backfire. Trying to change results in resentment and injuries. Communication becomes the key for these three.

Of course, nothing in life is simple. We have thieves, monsters from the past, rescues, equine calamities, and hours of sweet, sweet love. In the end, we will see how the medic tames his macho plumbers.

Book Review

I think I have truly waited long enough for this seventh installment in my much loved ‘Rescue for Hire West’ series. I know, Bellann, I know. Life got in the way. Sigh. Doesn't it always? Anyway, I was so looking forward to getting back to my hot, hunky heroes, who all have just a little “something-something” that makes each character in this series special. Plus I needed to re-familiarize myself with all of my favorite peeps.

Parker is the medic for the team and I know the least about him other than what I've seen of his work ethic and abilities, which of course, are phenomenal. Otherwise Roman wouldn't have hired him. Cayman and Seth are cousins of Rhys, Parker’s co-worker, and they are at the funeral for their grandfather when they spot Parker. Their grandfather always told them that they would know the instant they found the one meant to complete them. Unfortunately the brothers scare Parker, and he takes off with the team back to Nevada and home. Before he scurries away though, the brothers are quick to let Parker know they own a business in Las Vegas.

When Cayman and Seth get the job to install the plumbing on Flyer and Styx’s home, Parker is ecstatic. Unfortunately, these three are not off to an easy start. Communication, or should I say, miscommunication, is at the heart of most of their issues. Well, that and the brothers’ inherent character traits of wanting to be in control and take charge. Parker can easily take care of himself so these attitudes tend to piss him off. It takes a while for these three to find their groove but when they do? Ooo-la-la.

A wonderful addition to the series, although I have to admit that I didn't connect with these men as well as I have with the other couples. It didn't make my reading any less enjoyable and I'll certainly read more if the author continues to build the series. Thank you, Bellann!
