Book Blurb

Vampires agree that vampirism must be spread through sex, because if a bite on the neck could turn someone, the world would be overrun with legions of bloodsuckers by now. So Wild Bill's been careful. The last thing he'd want is to turn anyone. Especially his boytoy.

Despite Wild Bill's caution, Michael's looking pale and thin...more so than usual. He wears it well, just like the leather jacket, the black-dyed hair and the eyeliner. But for someone as starved as he is, food should hold more of an appeal. And is that a preternatural grace Bill detects in Michael's movements?

Book Review

In case you're wondering, I highly, highly, highly, recommend you read these books in order. It's not a hardship, trust me. Besides the fact that they are great stories, each one isn't very long and goes by so fast. Usually I'm turning the last page bemoaning that fact. So, here endeth the lesson. Yes, I'm quoting movie lines now.

Weeks have gone by and Wild Bill still doesn't know why Michael hasn't gotten old. Or, I should say, being with Michael hasn't gotten old. Spending time together, sleeping together, and the incredible amount of sex they have. Not stale. At. All. A whole new concept for Wild Bill. When he was alive he pushed people away from him in way less time. But he and Michael seem to fit. What if they're fitting too well, though, these days? Michael is losing weight, and he does seem paler. Typical Michael, though, he finds a vamp researcher whom they go and visit. Turns out, the way new vamps are made is through...oh, wait, I can't tell you. Spoiler. Just believe me when I say that Wild Bill was being so careful, and turns out he did exactly the right thing to nurture his human partner.

This was a fascinating installment with the medical science thrown in. Each successive story in the series is getting a little deeper and letting me see more of the true nature of both Wild Bill and Michael. Frankly, I'm hooked, and as fast as I'm reading these, the last thing I want to do is get to the end.
