Book Blurb

Twins Alex and Zeca love to switch identities. It’s harmless fun until Alex wants to date a hot tourist visiting their home of Capri and asks Zeca to take his place on a date with Alex’s current beau, Antonio.

After a day in Antonio’s arms—followed by a long, lusty weekend in his bed during a trip to Naples—Zeca discovers switching places with Alex isn’t so harmless after all. Especially when he realizes he’s falling hard for his brother’s boyfriend.

While struggling with his feelings for Antonio, consoling his semi-celebrity father (who’s having woman troubles) and trying not to upset Alex (who might be in love with Antonio...or his tourist tryst...or maybe the neighbor lady), Zeca wonders how any of them will make it through all the relationship woes with hearts intact. As Antonio says, “Love has a way of fixing things itself.”

Book Review

I loved this book! From the first page to the last, I felt as if I were on Capri, smelling the lemons and feeling the sun on my skin. The characters are as captivating as the location, and the story is simple but enchanting. The difference between the twin brothers Zeca and Alex was much clearer than I had expected (based on the blurb), and I was happy that I had no problem keeping them apart.

Zeca is a great guy. I loved him from the beginning, shyness and all. Like so many quiet people he has to deal with being overlooked by many. His much more outgoing brother Alex uses this shamelessly, and I was mad at him. I was rooting for Zeca to see what was going on, stand up for himself, and fight for what he wanted from the very beginning.

Antonio, who starts out as Alex's boyfriend, was a little harder to like initially. But he more than redeemed himself so that I ended up loving him as much as Zeca. It wasn't until partway into the book, when all became clear, but I liked him no less in the end.

This is a great story which focuses on the characters, their relationship, and Zeca's growing self-confidence. The setting descriptions are fabulous and the tension that comes from the twins' playing games (initially) had me fascinated.

If you're up for a sunny setting, if twins and their games are your thing, and if you’re looking for a fun read about some interesting guys, you will probably like this novella as much as I did.
