Love is in the air, and what says ‘romance’ more than a Valentine’s Day wedding? Anston “Ace” Sharpe’s is down in South Florida for his cousin’s wedding, and with his boyfriend Colton accompanying him, Ace has some Valentine’s Day plans of his own. Surrounded by his huge Cuban family, his brothers-in-arms from Four Kings Security, and a groom with a penchant for chaos, what could possibly go wrong?

Book Review

What could be more romantic than a Valentine’s day wedding? As this story shows, there are a few things that make it better: a stunning location in south Florida, a group of hunky men working in the same security company, a collection of their close friends and family, and a little extra Valentine’s Day romance on the side for two of the participants. It is not often that I start a series by reading the final book first – in fact, make that never! But I’ve been curious about ‘Four Kings Security’ for a while, it is positioned as a standalone, and I like the author’s other books, so I decided to risk it, especially since it is free. And I was not disappointed!

Ace and Colton are at the center of this story. They have been together for a while, and I can’t wait to read their back story once I begin with book one of this series. It is clear they love each other deeply, and there is lots of hot dancing, excellent food and drink, and some good-natured teasing between friends. It seems idyllic – until one of the grooms goes missing and the whole team is off on a mini-adventure to solve the mystery.

If you like glimpses of characters from a series in new settings, if you think that even a wedding can be in need of a security-trained team, and if you’re looking for an entertaining read with a touch of suspense and lots of loving, then you will probably like this free short story.
